Background:
I attended United Native African Church Primary School, Ebute Meta before proceeding to Denton Grammar School also in the same locality. I attended St. Gregory’s College for my HSC after which I gained admission to study law at the University of Ibadan in 1991. I proceeded to the Nigerian Law School and was called to the bar in 1998.
After my National Youth Service in Bayelsa State, I worked in the chambers of the then Pinhero and Oguntade in Ilupeju, Lagos. While there, I proceeded to the Obafemi Awolowo University for my Master’s in Law and finished in 2001. That same year, I joined the services of the Lagos State government where I was employed as a counsel in the Ministry of Justice. By the grace of God, I started moving up the ladder from that time and got to the position of Chief State Counsel. But for my being an oba today, I would have become an assistant director by early next year because I am already due for it.

He settled community disputes, sustained peace and unity among his people, ensured the presence of the present State Government administration in the community in terms of developmental projects and putting in place security as well as educational arrangements, which over the years appeared to have been neglected.

Kingdom History:
According to the tradition,early settlers in what today known as IGBOGBO Kingdom were more,Mokun,Itun- Nla and Abosan settlers.
Thereafter early settlers,there were other wave of migrants that also settled in IGBOGBO.
The history of Obaship in IGBOGBO is as old as the town itself and according to the Oral tradition,the traditional administration of the ancient town was administered by Elegures and later by the Oloja of IGBOGBO.
Several Elegures were said to have ruled IGBOGBO at different times before 1900 and the first Oloja ( which was later Changed to Oba) was Oba kashimawo. The tittle changed to Obaship during the reign of Oba kashinmawo whose reign started before 1900 and Ended in 1905.
